Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in
Rensselaer, Indiana. In this contract to permanent position, you
will play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring
smooth processes related to employee management and workplace
policies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute

Responsibilities: • Oversee employee onboarding processes to ensure
new team members are integrated effectively. • Manage timesheets
and ensure accurate tracking of employee hours. • Administer
workers’ compensation claims and support related processes. •
Implement and enforce company policies to maintain compliance and
workplace standards. • Provide support for recruitment activities,
including selection and separation procedures. • Handle employee
relations matters and address concerns professionally. • Maintain
and update records in the Human Resources Information System
(HRIS). • Collaborate with management to develop and refine HR
procedures. • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and
company policies. • Assist in planning and executing HR-related
initiatives and projects.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in
Human Resources or a related field. • Proficiency in using HRIS
systems to manage employee data and processes. • Strong knowledge
of onboarding practices and procedures. • Experience in handling
employee relations and resolving workplace issues. • Familiarity
with managing timesheets and payroll-related tasks. • Understanding
of workers’ compensation processes and regulations. • Excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong
interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with
employees and management.
