This role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and delivering a safe, accurate, and professional patient experience while maintaining confidentiality and process excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Conduct forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties Maintain required records and documentation Create and maintain a safe, professional environment Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor Demonstrate leadership behaviors while maintaining sensitivity to patient confidentiality and data accuracy Required Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 6 months experience required Phlebotomy Certification required Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime Keyboard/data entry experience required Nice-to-Have Experience: One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred Required Skills: Phlebotomy and specimen collection Patient interaction and customer service Documentation and data entry accuracy Preferred Skills: Pediatric and geriatric blood draw experience Strong communication skills Ability to multitask in high-volume environments Process excellence and confidentiality practices Additional Skills from Original Description: Clinical and forensic specimen handling Record maintenance and documentation Independent work capability Adherence to company policies and procedures Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund About the Client: Leading provider of diagnostic information services empowering healthier lives.
