Our Meriden area client is seeking a highly organized, hands-on, and detailed-oriented Facilities Maintenance Manager. The Facilities Maintenance Manager along with the maintenance team are responsible for ensuring that the facility and equipment is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly and meet all safety requirements.Direct hire (salary exempt), $65K - $72K, depending on experience plus benefits package. Paid time offPaid holidaysMedical, dental and vision options with company contributionPaid life insurance401K with company matchThe successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities and equipment maintenance, excellent communication skills as well as the ability to effectively lead / supervise a team. This is a very hands-on position requiring strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to handle preventative maintenance on equipment relating to the construction, maintenance, repair, modification of the building, equipment controls / communications, electrical / electronic systems and/or mechanical devices and equipment.Qualifications, Education and Experience required for this Facilities Maintenance Manager role: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulationsKnowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management.Proficient in MS Office Suite and ability to learn new computer program.If you are ready to jump into a new position, this manufacturing leader might be the company for you!
