*The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates* is hiring for a *Laboratory Technician *for a client near Hartford, CT.*Responsibilities** Perform chemical, biological, physical or mechanical analyses on products* Ability to follow SOP for existing test methods, handle powders and chemicals* Analyze test results and write technical lab reports for completed tests* Equipment maintenance and calibration* Other duties as assigned*Requirements** BS or AA degree in a technical field or science discipline preferred* 1 3 years of laboratory and product testing experience preferred* Understanding of basic concepts or measurement systems, testing, and calibration* Good problem-solving skills* Must be able to work independently*Additional Details: ** _Position Type: 1 year contract role_* _W2 position_* _Must be eligible to work in the United States.
