Vaco is working with a manfucturing company in Meriden, CT looking to add a DIRECT HIRE Accounts Payable Specialist to their team.58-65kTeamwork makes the dreamwork is their motto!Great work life balance! Not micro-managing, very collaborative!As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will compile data, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing purposes.Additional responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include:

• Process invoices from multiple vendors and reconciling purchasing orders to vendor invoices
• Checking figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• Debiting, crediting, and totaling accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• W9's to ensure they are accurately recorded
• Processing of AP - Vendor invoices matching to PO's, checks
• AP Reconciliations
• AP Journal Entries
• Mix of ACH payments and physical checksRequirements:
  • 3-way matching
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Accounting/Finance Degree
