Ruane Attorneys is a growing criminal defense firm with offices in Shelton and New Britain.--Our office environment is friendly, but fast paced.

Ruane Attorneys is hiring the right person for a Client Intake Specialist position in our New Britain, CT office.

Client Intake Specialist handles interviews and intake lawyer support. This requires phone contact with prospective clients.

Candidates should enjoy working with people and have the ability to understand and respond to the needs of clients and potential clients. Candidates should enjoy a fast-paced environment, work well independently, have enthusiasm for criminal defense law, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities:
--- Conveys confidence on the phone;
--- Sets the tone and the pace of the client phone call;
--- Shows empathy and compassion to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time;
--- Treats a call at 4:30pm on a Friday with the same care and compassion as one at 10am on a Monday;
--- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills;
--- Proficient in typing;

Qualifications:
--- Have an associate's degree from an accredited school or working towards one
--- HaveeExperience in retail or restaurant customer service, intake or call handling
--- Be self-motivated, intellectually curious and possess a strong work ethic
--- Enjoy continuous learning in a fast-paced and friendly work environment
