more than one functional area in Quality, Reliability, Test, or
Inspection. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee
recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment,

resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining
an effective business rhythm. Responsible for all aspects of
quality for assigned area of responsibility. Communicates quality

financial responsibilities are met. Ensures appropriate
identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and
contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements.
Ensures effective implementation of quality management system
within area of responsibility. Ensures effective implementation of
a metrics program and actively address adverse trends. Ensures
product acceptance and delivery per established process and program
requirements. Note: This job code will be used for quality
personnel that have lead responsibility for a program with one or

Qualifications This Quality Associate Manager (QAM) position
supporting Hangar Operations is located in Stratford, CT on first
shift. The QAM is responsible for all aspects of quality
supervision for 1st shift hourly associates supporting Stratford
Hangar Operations. The position will report to the Quality Manager,
Black Hawk in the RMS Sikorsky line of business. The candidate will
provide leadership to both salary and hourly personnel as
appropriate, including Hangar Supervision. The QAM will provide
leadership through identification and implementation of process
improvement initiatives in these areas that support the Quality
Organization’s key performance measurements, vision and strategy.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the
following: • Collaborating across enterprise functions and with
internal stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are executed
and complied with; • Monitoring and managing the headcount,
overtime, and DCI% • Coordinating shift coverage, A/B schedule
coverage, weekend coverage, and cross market segment or product
center coverage • Salary performance management, including annual
reviews and salary planning • Managing collaboration efforts with
DCMA for contract statement of work compliance to the quality
management system, non-conforming material, and corrective actions
• Managing the grievance escalation process as appropriate. •
Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Local 1150; •
Manage the training scheduling of the hourly associates. •
Supporting the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed
Martin, RMS and RMS Sikorsky business objectives. Desired skills
Strong communication skills. Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and
procedures related to aircraft production (e.g. Non-conforming
material management, etc.). Knowledge of Collective Bargaining
Agreement as applicable. Talent development and team building
skills Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive
change. Strong working knowledge of problem solving/root cause

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position
in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major
metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $109,200 - $189,290. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
