Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking a Coating Machine Operator to join their team. As a Coating Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Coating Machine Operator Location: Bohemia, NY Pay Range: $18 - $18.75 per hour Available shifts: 2nd shift: Mon-Friday 3PM - 11:30PM Duration: temp-to-hire What's the Job? Competently operate coating machinery to produce pills and tablets, independently as well as within a team environment. Move skids using an electric and/or manual jack and operate hand tools. Match all labels with batch records and document coating process information as per SOP. Load and unload coating machines and weigh coating ingredients as per formula. Monitor coating operations periodically and report any abnormal conditions to the manager. What's Needed? 2 years of p rior manufacturing experience required. Must be able to read and write in English (required). Ability to write simple correspondence and basic mathematical skills. Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc., within a manufacturing environment, able to lift up to 50 pounds. What's in it for me?
