Job Description:
Cafe Spice, a leader in globally inspired, chef-driven meals, is
seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for our second shift
operations, particularly focusing on high-quality, authentic Indian
cuisine in ready-to-eat formats. This role is crucial for ensuring
our production lines run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining
the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal
candidate will be passionate about food production and capable of
managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Oversee daily
operations of the production line during the second shift, ensuring
compliance with all food safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Manage and develop a team of production workers, including
training, scheduling, and ongoing performance management. Monitor
production equipment and schedules to ensure that all food products
are produced to specification and volumes meet planning demands.
Implement and enforce strict safety and sanitation standards
throughout the production area. Collaborate with quality control
teams to identify and correct process deviations, ensuring product
quality. Prepare and review production and efficiency reports,
making adjustments as necessary to improve throughput and reduce
waste. Act as a key point of contact for all second shift
production issues, interfacing with other supervisors and
departmental managers to ensure seamless operations. Strong
leadership and people management skills Excellent organizational
and time-management abilities In-depth knowledge of food production
and safety regulations Ability to work independently and make
crucial production decisions swiftly Experience with inventory
management software and production scheduling Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified in Production and
Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred Food Safety Certification is
a must (e.g., ServSafe or similar)
