Job Description:

As a CDL A Delivery Driver at US Foods, you play a critical role in our mission to serve Americas foodservice operators. This position ensures the safe and timely delivery of products from our distribution centers to our customers. Leveraging state-of-the-art technology and high-quality vehicles, you'll handle products ranging from fresh produce to high-end private labels. The role is not only about driving but also about building strong relationships with our customers, providing professional service, and becoming a part of their success story. Ensure safe and efficient delivery of products to customers Load and unload goods using truck equipment Maintain logs and records as per Federal and State regulations Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Comply with truck driving rules and regulations Collect and verify delivery instructions Manage documentation associated with freight, maintaining client confidentiality Ability to operate and maintain heavy commercial vehicles Strong time management and customer service skills Proficient in GPS and other navigation systems Physical endurance to handle substantial lifting and carrying Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) Clean driving record DOT medical card Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
