Here, you will make an impact by:

• Developing products used internationally to ensure accurate processing of health care claims and improve the quality of health care
• Working as part of a cross-functional agile team developing a mix of AWS cloud-based and on-premises applications and services
• Building secure and innovative solutions with your knowledge of Java, RESTful services, Angular and other technologies
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and software qualityYour Skills and Expertise - To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionOR
    • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and six (6) years of experience in software development
      • Two (2) years of experience with object-oriented software development experience (can include course work)Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
        • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited institution
        • Experience with Java software development
        • Experience with Web services and web application development (REST, Angular)
        • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Linux shell
        • Experience using git and GitHub
        • Experience with Gradle, Ant or Maven
        • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
        • Familiarity with SQL and relational database design
        • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with distributed team members
        • Skills including excellent verbal and written communication; good problem-solving ability; capable of working independently without close supervision
        • Ability to influence others and be a positive, collaborative contributor in our Agile team working environmentWork location:
