Position Overview Aveanna Education Services (AES) is seeking Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to lead an ABA-based early intervention clinic/classroom in Waterbury, CT. Essential Job Functions Assessment & Planning Develop and update Individualized Education Plans Align goals with student IEPs and team input Provide direct and consultative services per IEP Monitor and adjust interventions based on student progress Ensure fidelity of implementation of behavior intervention plans Behavioral Interventions Implement evidence-based ABA strategies (DTT, NET, PRT) Develop and oversee Positive Behavior Support plans Provide behavior crisis support as needed Design programs to build communication, social, and adaptive skills Utilize tools like PECS, AAC, and verbal behavior techniques Support daily living skills (toileting, dressing, feeding) Team Collaboration Participate in IEP team meetings and training sessions Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, and staff Supervise and coach BHTs, RBTs, paraprofessionals, and class aides Provide parent training and strategy support Conduct skill-based training sessions when necessary Administrative Collect and analyze behavior and skill acquisition data Maintain current written documents or electronic files, as required by the clinical team. Maintain daily notes and compliance documentation Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. Complete other duties, as assigned Qualifications Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA), in good standing with BACB Valid Licensed Behavior Analyst in CT Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques, including DTT, NET, and PRT. Two (2) years of experience conducting FBA’s and creating Behavior Support Plans Experience teaching functional communication and social skills, and implementing and creating behavior analytic programs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
