Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years OR RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. This position requires a registered nurse with
specialized skills in operating room procedures, committed to
supporting surgeons throughout surgical operations. The role
involves both assisting in a lead capacity and occasionally serving
as a circulating nurse, ensuring the surgical team operates
efficiently and patient safety is maintained. Schedule: - Four
10-hour shifts per week - On-call responsibilities two days a week
from 5 p.m. (or after shift end) until 7 p.m. - Weekend call every
third weekend (Saturday and Sunday) covering 24 hours each day Key
Responsibilities: - Assist the surgeon in a lead role throughout
operative procedures - Provide peri-operative nursing care,
including scrubbing and circulating duties - Adhere to established
organizational and departmental policies and procedures -
Collaborate closely with the Nurse Manager, Operating Room, to
ensure smooth operation flow Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Current RN
licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts - Completion of an
RN First Assisting course aligned with AORN Core Curriculum
standards - Minimum five years of diversified peri-operative
nursing experience with proven proficiency in scrubbing and
circulating - Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart
Association or American Red Cross Location Highlights: Situated in
