Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

patient care, is seeking a Clinical Nurse III for our Vascular
Surgery unit on ward C5. This role demands advanced nursing skills
to manage and deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing
vascular surgeries, ensuring both pre-surgical preparation and
post-surgical recovery are handled with the utmost professionalism
and adherence to the latest clinical guidelines. Provide
comprehensive nursing care to vascular surgery patients pre and
post operation. Monitor patient vitals and recovery progress,
adjusting care plans as needed. Educate patients and families on
surgical procedures, post-op care, and lifestyle adjustments.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with
the surgical team. Implement evidence-based practices and adhere to
health and safety protocols. Advanced patient assessment Critical
thinking Effective communication Pain management Wound care Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life
Support (BLS) – Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) Certification in Vascular Nursing (CVN)
preferred.
