Headway, a pioneering mental health organization, is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Technician (LMHT) to join our dynamic team. As an LMHT at Headway, you will play a crucial role in providing direct support to our patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of mental health care. Assist mental health professionals in the delivery of services to patients. Monitor patients' emotional and psychological status and report observations to healthcare professionals. Engage in therapeutic activities with patients as directed by mental health practitioners. Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress. Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy policies regarding patient's mental health and personal information. Assist in crisis interventions under the supervision of a qualified mental health professional. Contribute to team meetings and clinical training sessions to expand professional knowledge and skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical conduct within a mental health setting. Proficient in using healthcare databases and patient management software. Experience in crisis management and intervention. Competence in observing patient behavior and accurately reporting issues. Required: Licensed as a Mental Health Technician or Certification as a Behavioral Health Technician. Preferred: CPR and First Aid certification.
