Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: January 11, 2026 Location: Albany, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Not specified Highlights: Float pool role across multiple ICU environments including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care Level I trauma center setting with high acuity patient population Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility Opportunity to develop diverse critical care skills across specialty units May provide care for ICU patients in ED and PACU during bed placement transitions Two positions available Requirements: Active New York RN license (out-of-state candidates preferred; local candidates from specific counties not eligible) Epic EMR experience required Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred Proven competency floating to a variety of ICU settings Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission Demonstrated ability to care for critical care patients across multiple specialty environments Why It's a Great Opportunity: This float pool position offers the chance to work in a high-level trauma center environment where you'll continuously develop your critical care expertise across multiple specialty units.
