non-profit in Upper Manhattan is searching for an experienced PMHNP
for the adult outpatient program. This organization as a whole
provides behavioral support services to the local community and is
well known for their therapeutic preschool, child and adolescent
programs and case management and therapeutic support for adults. We
are offering an excellent compensation package including best in
class benefits for this position. The client base is adults with 75
min intake and 15-30 minutes follow-up appointments and 35 billable
hours per week. The ideal schedule is 5 days a week / 7 hours a day
- 5 client hours / 2 admin hours a day. 4 days a week in office, 1

Responsibilities 1:1 medication management, evaluations,
assessments, and follow-ups Obtains and accurately documents
relevant health histories, with emphasis on mental health Performs
comprehensive psychiatric evaluations Prescribes psychotropic and
related medications based on clinical indicators Educates clients,
and family members if appropriate, on a variety of health-related
topics Experience Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited
university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
Active NY Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
