Competitive Pay: $25-29/hour (based on experience) Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday - no late night or weekends Dual Specialty Experience: Gain hands-on experience in both periodontics (implants, grafting) and endodontics (root canal therapy, diagnostics) Modern Technology: PBS Endo software at WME Curve Dental at WMP Digital x-rays, microscopes, surgical instruments, and advanced treatment planning tools Highly Rated Practices: WME: 4.9-star Google rating with 450 reviews WMP: 4.9-star Google rating - known for compassionate care and clinical excellence Workplace Culture: Supportive, knowledgeable, and patient-focused team Location : Western Mass Endodontics & Western Mass Periodontics 435 South Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 What You’ll Do as Our Dental Assistant Support both periodontists and endodontists chairside during specialty procedures Take high-quality digital x-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging Set up and break down surgical and treatment rooms with strict adherence to sterilization protocols Assist with surgical instrumentation, implant placement, and microscope-assisted procedures Educate patients on post-op instructions, oral hygiene techniques, and treatment plans Accurately chart and document in PBS Endo or Curve Dental systems Maintain clinical inventory and prepare specialty instruments and supplies What We’re Looking For 1 year of dental assisting experience (specialty experience a plus) Radiology certification (required) CPR certification (required) Dental Assistant Certification from an accredited program (preferred) Comfort using dental software systems and digital imaging tools Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask A calm, professional demeanor with a team-first attitude Business Hours Western Mass Periodontics Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Western Mass Endodontics Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM Interview Process Phone Interview In-Person Interview with Tour & Team Introduction Apply Today to Join a Specialty Dental Team That Invests in You At Western Mass Endodontics and Periodontics, we provide more than expert care - we foster growth, respect, and collaboration.
