In this fast-paced, challenging environment, you will learn from and collaborate with experienced oral surgeons in a supportive and collaborative environment and enjoy the satisfaction of contributing to life-changing procedures. 4 locations in Nassau County Duties and Responsibilities Greet patients and perform pre-surgical preparations Assist the oral surgeon during surgery, providing suction, monitoring instruments, and swapping tools as necessary Provide post-operative instruction to patients regarding healing and care Operate x-ray equipment Disinfect, sterilize, and store equipment after use Required Skills and Qualifications 2-3 years assisting experience required, preferably in an oral surgery environment CPR certification within 1 month of hire Strong communications skills and a calm demeanor in stressful situations Extremely organized and detail oriented Dexterity Listening skills Team player What we offer Competitive salary and benefits Paid vacation and holidays 401K
