Job Description Job Description Title: Radiation Therapist Status: Full-Time, 7:30 am-4 pm Location: Pittsfield, MA Relocation: Yes Salary: $41.59-$57/hour Bonus: To be discussed Visa Support: Not Available Join a respected cancer treatment team in the Berkshires as a Radiation Therapist , delivering high-quality radiation therapy services in a supportive and professional environment. This full-time position operates weekdays only, offering a strong work-life balance in a scenic, affordable location. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities: Administer radiation treatments following the physician's direction and safety protocols Perform simulations and assist with dosimetry planning Fabricate and manage treatment blocks and immobilization devices Coordinate daily treatment schedules and equipment assignments Operate radiation equipment safely and effectively under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist Collaborate with nursing, reception, and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain and update departmental procedure manuals as needed Qualifications: Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program is required Current Massachusetts Radiology License required ARRT(T) certification in Radiation Therapy is required Current CPR certification required Must have clinical experience through a formal program and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations Attendance at all mandatory education and training is required Top Skill Sets Required: Radiation Therapy Treatment Delivery Simulation and Dosimetry Planning Support High-Stress Clinical Decision Making
