This role requires a proactive approach in managing patient care in a complex, fast-paced setting while adhering to high standards of safety and quality. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients on the C8 unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor patient conditions and update care plans accordingly. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management. Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively. Maintain meticulous records of patient care and progress. Participate in the review and evaluation of nursing practices to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations. Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical or internal medicine units. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Capability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle high-stress situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN license in the state of New York. BLS/ACLS certification.
