Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a recognized leader in advanced
healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse
II to join our Neuroscience and Epilepsy team. This position offers
an exceptional opportunity to specialize in neuroscience nursing,
particularly in the management and care of epilepsy patients. Our

educational and research missions. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will
deliver high-quality nursing care, contribute to our educational

neuroscience. Provide specialized nursing care to neuroscience and
epilepsy patients, adhering to established protocols. Participate
in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan, evaluate and enhance
patient care strategies. Educate patients and their families about
disease processes and treatment plans. Assist in the administration
of medications and monitoring of side effects. Engage in ongoing
professional development and participate in research and clinical
trials. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in
compliance with hospital policies. Expertise in neuroscience
nursing Proficiency in patient care management software Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of EEG and
other neurological examination procedures Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse
(RN) licensure in the state of New York Certified Neuroscience
Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
