is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our Post
Cardiothoracic Surgery team. This pivotal role supports our
commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a
state-of-the-art facility. In this position, you will engage in
cutting-edge practices in post-operative recovery, participating
actively in the healing and rehabilitation of patients who have
undergone cardiothoracic surgery. Provide high-quality nursing care
for post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients Monitor patient
vital signs, manage pain, and detect complications early
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to streamline effective
patient treatments Educate patients and their families about
post-operative care and necessary lifestyle adjustments Participate
in professional development and research activities to enhance
patient care Expertise in post-operative care, particularly in
cardiothoracic surgery Strong clinical skills with the ability to
monitor and administer medications Ability to communicate
effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Proficiency in using medical software for patient care and
documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of New York
BLS/ACLS Certification CCRN certification preferred but not
required
