Join Our Team as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Brattleboro, VT
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, a leading community healthcare
provider in southern Vermont, is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic
Surgeon to join its thriving Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine team.
This role offers a rewarding practice environment with a preferred
focus in hand or foot and ankle surgery, access to cutting-edge
robotic technology, and a vibrant lifestyle in the heart of the
Green Mountains. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive
orthopaedic care with a strong focus on hand or foot and ankle
surgery. Work in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting at
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. Treat a broad range of
musculoskeletal conditions, referring multi-trauma cases to
tertiary care. Utilize MAKO robotic surgical technology in
state-of-the-art, orthopaedic-dedicated OR suites. Collaborate with
a supportive team of 3 Orthopaedic Surgeons and 4 Physician
Assistants. Manage an average of 25 patients per day. Participate
in a 1:4 general ortho call rotation. Use Cerner Community Works
for EMR management. Enjoy dedicated OR block time with
opportunities for clinical growth. Qualifications: Board certified
or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery. (REQUIRED) Clean
malpractice history. Recent NPDB Report (within the last 30 to 60
days) - no exemptions. Active Vermont License (must be obtained
prior to start). (REQUIRED) Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of
the Hand or Foot and Ankle is highly preferred. License and
Certification Requirements: American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
(ABOS) Board Certified or Board Eligible. Vermont DEA License. CPR
Certification (must be obtained prior to start). (REQUIRED) BLS
Certification (must be obtained prior to start). (REQUIRED)
