Connecticut 06451 (Central Connecticut, near Hartford and New
Haven) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 8/11/2025 – End:
11/11/2025) - Healthcare Setting: Emergency Services Unit /
Emergency Department - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM),
every other weekend and holiday - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated
Weekly Pay: $2,090 - $2,140 per week - Employment Type: Travel
Registered Nurse Emergency Room RN Qualifications - Active and
unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – Connecticut RN license
preferred - Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) or
ER nursing experience - Recent hands-on experience (within the past
6 months) with EPIC EMR - Experience in a high-volume emergency
room (over 150 patient visits per day) - BLS and ACLS
certifications required (American Heart Association preferred) ER
Nurse Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate
patient care in a fast-paced emergency department - Assess, triage,
and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
as ordered - Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice
providers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team - Accurately
document all patient care activities in EPIC EMR - Educate patients
and families on care plans and discharge instructions - Comply with
