The team is looking for a LPN to work Per Diem Night shift (7pm-7am) and are willing to help train those looking to change direction in their nursing career!Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is a memory care community complete with 52 private and semi-private rooms providing comfortable, secure living in an environment designed for safety and independence. Programs serve individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment - those with difficulties that require watchfulness and a supportive environment, but who do not need nursing home care. The center is thoughtfully designed and services are tailored for individuals with memory loss, Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias.As a member of our caring, compassionate health care professionals the selected LPN will enjoy:

  • The nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing Director
  • Oversee a team of resident assistants
  • Pass medications to approximately 26 residents
  • Education of families on how to help care for their loved ones with memory loss and how to get the most success in their visitsMinimum Requirements
    • Valid NYS LPN licensePreferred Requirements
      • 1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills
      • 1+ year working in memory care in a direct care position highly desired
      • Maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
      • Communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment
      • Engage within a team setting
      • Strong leadership and mentorship of the Resident Assistant staff
      • Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing fieldPay Range: $24.00 - $30.10Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
