Job Description:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR. Operating Room Registered Nurses will prepare the operating room and the patient for the procedure and make sure that all equipment is sterile and working correctly.Responsibilities:OR Nurse duties consist of:

Analyzing the well being of the patient before, during and after the procedure.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and provide medical instruments and medical supplies to them during operations.
Collecting and tracking any items needed for lab work.

Requirements

One year of experience as an OR RN within the past two years.
- Active RN License in good standing.
- Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
