One of the largest medical practices in New England is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to join the team at their Primary Care office in Wallingford, CT. This is a large and well-known organization that is rapidly growing. They offer endless opportunity & career growth and strive on giving a positive patient & employee experience.Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-6PM (No Weekends)Qualifications: - Must have 1+ years of experience working in a medical office with both clinical and administraive duties- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited university- Primary Care experience is preferred but not required- Bilingual in Spanish & EnglishSpecialty: Primary CareMedical assistant daily role:+ Greeting and rooming patients+ Recording patient vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen)+ Updating patient history and medication via EMR system+ Prescription refills+ Properly setting up halter monitors+ Triaging patient callsCompany insight:+ 2nd largest employer in CT!+ Entry level opportunity for recent medical assistant graduates, ability to gain clinical and administrative experience!Looking to interview and start ASAP!
