Connecticut. We publish one daily newspaper, 7 community weeklies

professional committed to play a key role in growing all digital
revenue for our company, including digital marketing services and
owned & operated digital products. Homebase Digital is a

team!The Digital Sales Manager will help execute our strategic
sales plan for all digital company revenue. They will be actively
involved in sales and fulfillment. This person ideally is a
seasoned digital advertising sales professional with an
entrepreneurial mindset and leadership experience who wants to be a
part of a fast-moving company focused on growth. The Digital Sales
Manager will be responsible for achieving monthly and annual
digital revenue targets. Using a consultative sales approach, they
will do so by effectively cold calling, networking, getting sales
appointments, conducting needs analysis meetings and presenting the
right marketing solutions to businesses. They will also have a
strong focus on building long-term client relationships.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONSAchieve monthly and annual digital company revenue
goals.Participate in weekly sales team meetingsProspect for new
business and work through the sales process to close
business.Participate in ongoing sales and product training.Make
sales calls and presentations to new and/or existing
accounts.Maintain a client-centric environment with a proactive
commitment to internal and external customer service and client
success.Manage campaign performance and client satisfaction
throughout the campaign.Manage retention efforts to ensure
customers are not lost while acquiring new accounts.Sell digital
products, services, and campaigns, demonstrating value to new and
existing customers, focusing on helping clients achieve their goals
and delivering measurable results for them.Stay educated on
regional and national digital and marketing trends via involvement
in industry associations and other relevant groups.Attend community
and professional events to build relationships, brand, and revenue.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS College degree in marketing or marketing
training preferredCertification in digital marketing preferred but
not requiredThree years of digital media sales experience, with
social media skills required.Computer skills required, including
strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. PERSONAL PROFILE Customer
centric - with a focus on making the "right sale"Proclivity for
continuous education Possess a high degree of business and personal
integrity.Ability to work well with others to achieve desired
performance objectives.Technologically savvy with a keen interest
in all things digital.Ability to manage, interpret and explain
data.Organized, efficient and able to meet deadlines.Ability to
work cooperatively with coworkers and managers.Must possess a valid
driver's license and reliable transportation. If no driver's
license, must have reliable and at the ready transportation for
frequent local travel.Good verbal and written communication skills,
including spelling, punctuation, and grammar. JOB SCOPE Full-time
exempt position with base salary and performance incentive.Hours
are generally 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We have a
