Job Description:
Job DescriptionOur rapidly-growing client is searching for an
Operations Manager to oversee all of the CT branch's logistics and
distribution.This is a $50,000,000 company with multiple branches
in CT. They distribute materials for various construction sites,
etc.Responsibilities:-Work with centralized purchasing to load
inventory throughout organization -Manage the process of getting
product to branch managers -Managing the cycle counts, and
identifying slow moving inventory. -Must have ERP experience
(Epicor preferred) -Experience as an Operations Manager in
Distribution, Logistics, or Retail Distribution is required.
(Someone with only Manufacturing Operations Management experience
may be considered, depending on level of experience.) -Important to
know: They are in process of growing and implementing continuous
improvement. Therefore the Operations Manager will work very close
with the IT Manager with standard operating
procedures...automation, etc. Any experience in that is extremely
