Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This contract position is for a Special Education
Teacher serving students in grades K-12 at a school located in New
York, NY. The role involves supporting self-contained, resource,
and special day classrooms, providing tailored instruction to meet
diverse learning needs. Qualifications: Active State Teaching
License in Special Education Experience working with K-12 students
preferred Ability to manage self-contained and resource classroom
environments effectively Job Details: Start Date: Immediate End
Date: End of School Year Compensation: $37-41/hour, commensurate
with experience Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week Days: 5 days per week
Age Group Served: Kindergarten through 12th Grade Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for
students Collaborate with staff and families to support student
progress Adapt lessons and materials to meet the needs of varying
learning abilities Maintain accurate records of student performance
and behavior Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
