To learn more visit BalkanPlumbing.com. Our vital and growing firm is searching for an experienced Sewer and Drain Technician, who is dependable and professional. Responsibilities: Perform in all aspects of sewer and drain work, including but not limited to: ? Operate equipment in a safe manner ? Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) ? Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and co-workers ? Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems. ? Participation in required staff meetings and training ? Complete and submit paperwork daily ? Keep vans clean inside and out ? Report any issues or incidents to supervisor ? Maintain a clean drivers license ? Understand Balkan’s health and safety practices and DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations ? Compliance with All Policies including: Safety, Safety, Safety! Skills and Qualifications: ? Valid New York State Driver’s License; clean driver’s license and good driving record ? A good working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems and underground piping ? Plumbing knowledge a plus ? Able to easily navigate the boroughs of NYC ? Able to handle physical workload ? Strong work ethic ? This is a safety sensitive position, a drug and alcohol test will be required ? OSHA SST Varies 40 plus Occasional Overtime
