Our staffing agency represents a privately-held Online Community Management SaaS company that has amassed over 500 worldwide customers and has received stellar reviews on Glassdoor (5.0), G2 (4.3) and, Capterra (4.5).
This 100-employee, Series A firm ($23 million in funding), which is making a major investment in U.S. sales in 2022, is seeking multiple Senior Account Executives to close $100k+ ACV deals to higher education, associations, non-profits, and commercial organizations. This is a remote role, but you must live in a preferred metro area.

Role* Individual contributor role, work-from-home in Austin, Chicago, NYC, Connecticut, or New Jersey.* $100k to $110k base, commensurate with your current success. OTE is double.* You have 5+ years selling software, with at least 2 years selling to non-profits and/or higher ed orgs.* You are assertive and passionate, and you are consultative with internal and external stakeholders.* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - you should be a great writer, speaker, and listener.* You can confidently discern customer needs, present solutions appropriately, and overcome objections in a professional and persuasive manner.* Helpful: formal training on some branded sales methodology (Sandler, MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.)* You are self-directed, and comfortable working in an autonomous, dynamic, start-up environment.* You have a strong desire to be a part of building something special!

Official Job Description
As a member of our US sales team, you'll play an integral role in building the foundation for our success, and help us build our core business working with B2B, Not-For-Profits, and Higher Education in North America. You will demonstrate relentless customer focus by managing all aspects of the client relationship, including prospecting, qualification, and driving the sales process through a successful close.
You'll need to know the ins and outs of our solution, be able to demonstrate our capabilities and benefits to our prospects, and serve as an evangelist within the marketplace. You'll have an opportunity to contribute significantly to our future success and create many happy customers, with highly engaged and active communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Hunter mentality - skilled at generating outbound leads through cold calling, blitzing, researching, and networking - Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on needs in a client-facing environment - Sell our solution with a consultative approach to demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects - Negotiate complex deals - Strategically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline and forecast - Qualify and nurture leads, to engage, grow and close a healthy sales pipeline - Manage and track customer information, activities, pipeline metrics and accurate forecasts in Salesforce - Cultivate lasting relationships with customers - Consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales quota - Work cross-functionally bottom-up and top-down customer success, marketing, and product to provide key market feedback and help shape our fast-growing trajectory - Participate in team-building and company events
REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of successful SaaS B2B sales experience - Experience in Higher Education and Non-profit B2B experience - Exceptional track record of success in closing new business and exceeding sales targets - Prior experience in providing client-facing demos and the ability to learn new concepts quickly - Excellent sales, negotiation, and persuasive skills; loves to compete and win - Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong financial acumen - Strong team player and self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment - Assertive, passionate, and takes a consultative approach with internal and external stakeholders PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Familiarity with MEDDIC, or related sales methodologies - Start-up / Scale-up experience - Bachelor's Degree
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Able to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
